I’m delighted to announce that this week, the eBook version of Tidepool went up on Amazon and Kobo for preorder. (Just FYI: the cover on the sale pages is not the final cover; it’s a Parliament House placeholder cover.)
The book will be released on August 3, 2021. There’s a print version coming too, but I’m guessing we won’t see that until December at the earliest. The Tidepool cover reveal is on December 10, which just happens to be my birthday. I’d guess the print preorder will be available shortly after that.
Oh, and according to my publisher, the eBook should also be up on Barnes and Noble and the Apple bookstore shortly.
Parliament House also sent me Tidepool’s galleys to review. This is the first time I saw the book the way it’s going to look as an actual honest-to-goddess book, and well. That was A Moment. For just one night, 2020 didn’t seem like a flaming fiery hellscape.
That’s the cover page. I love the font used for the cover page and the chapter headings; it has a sort of old-timey look I think is perfect for Tidepool. Now I just have to think of clever things to write if anyone should ask me for an autographed copy.
So. I’d deeply appreciate any preorders, as boosting the book’s profile on Amazon and Kobo will hopefully hook more people into ordering it. Sorrow Hamilton’s story is one step closer to being out in the world at last.
